I rated it 4 stars as the adults present all really enjoyed their meals. I was however disappointed in how our 2 year old was served her chicken & fries. She was served when the adults were halfway through their meals. Something was definitely off with the timing of the orders. Our little one was as "good as gold" and waited patiently. But all the food was delicious.

Le Chien Noir is my favouite restaurant in all of Kingston. Excellent food! The oysters are always fresh and amazing. Great Parisien atmosphere and decor. I was there yesterday and the quality hasn't changed in 5 years. The employees were friendly and fun!

Gathered here with a group if about 10 for a birthday. The place is lovely. The charcuterie board was great. I got the duck and was underwhelmed. ( bit dry ) but overall our evening was fantastic and I would absolutely return to enjoy wine and oysters or apps on the lovely patio
